We are located in the middle of Michigan’s Huron-Manistee National Forests, and just minutes away from the waters we guide. Gouker Fly Fishing is a four season, full time guide service, that offers both full and half day fishing opportunities. Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Salmon, and Steelhead are all available, and make great targets for the fly angler.

John Gouker is not just one of the best guides I have ever fished , he’s a good person. I think I’ve fished with 5 times, plus had him as an instructor. As a teacher knowledgeable about all aspects of fly fishing, patient and and a great teacher. As a guide, he puts you on fish and a trip with him is just pleasant. If you want to fly fish, whether you’re experienced or just learning, you can do no better than having John as a guide, an instructor, or both.
